" Kantha" means "patched cloth”.  The tradition of producing unique, and beautiful quilted blankets out of discarded fabric is so romantic to me. Indian women gently gathering and hand stitching fabrics together to make a warm and cozy lap cloth, picnic blanket or as a bed decoration embodies my passion for zero waste living and finding value in something again. To send positive energy back into this process from you and me, 'be mindful.'  makes monthly donations to woman survivors from human trafficking and continues to purchase products we sell and use that sustain employment for them after rescue so they feel value again. This makes a great gift that keeps on giving.  Quilts will be mailed with an up-cycled Sari silk ribbon and custom card.  Please note what you would like your card to say at check out.

Each quilt is  approx 52"x80", unique, hand patched with long rustic stitching  and shares random colors.  Since no two are alike, please enjoy the vairety of random fabric and colors in the quilt you purchase.  Wash before use. Some fraying may occur.
